Artist Carol Bowie
Carol Bowie is an award-winning artist who lives in Santa Cruz County
with her son, Aaron. A prolific producer of fine art, the multimedia artist
uses oil, acrylics, printmaking, and mixed media to produce creations
variously described as “powerful,” “emotional,” “colorful,” and “expressive.”
Her work is collected locally, nationally, and internationally and resides in
many private and corporate collections.
“My involvement in the 'Art and Soul of Jazz' project has been a
tremendous joy, further expanding me
artistically, emotionally, and psychologically.
I feel privileged and honored to have this opportunity to absorb
these musicians and reproduce their essences through
my paintings and drawings.”
